DAY 1- MARRAKECH - IMLIL - TOUBKAL REFUGE :

We departure from Marrakech early morning, towards the high Atlas Mountains via Tahnaouet (local market on Tuesdays), Valley Ghighaya, Moulay Brahim gorges, Asni (market on Saturdays) then between terraced fields of vegetables, fruit trees (walnuts & cherries), arrival to Imlil at 1740m, meeting the team: Guide, muleteer then start the trek between fields and surrounding villages of Imlil along the Ait Mizane valley, Taouerirte, Targa Imola, Tagadirte, Armed at 1900m then into the shrine of Sidi Chamharouch, at 2500m lunch next to the river, then continue to climb steadily to the Toubkal refuge at 3207m through snaking and zigzagging mule tracks. Overnight at the refuge. Approx. 5h30 walking.

DAY 2 : REFUGE 3207M - SUMMIT TOUBKAL - REFUGE TOUBKAL- IMLIL 1740M - MARRAKECH

We’ll start as early as possible to climb to Toubkal where you are having a nice and amazing landscapes on the Toubkal massif and the atlas chain, we’re going to descend into the refuge again in order to have lunch and take your staffs before start came down from the same way that we took on the first day, in order to get Imlil and be picked up to Marrakech to your raid or hotel.
