DAY 1 : MARRAKECH - AIT BENHADDOU - OUARZAZATE - SKOURA - VALLEY OF ROSES - DADES GORGES

To get to the Dades Gorges, go from Marrakech to Ouarzazate over the Atlas Mountains. You will enjoy gorgeous route, stunning scenery with changing hues and Berber communities along the way. Your first destination will be 'Ait Benhaddou Kasbah' recognised since 1987 by UNESCO as a human world treasure. The walls and interior of this Kasbah are the most preserved of all the extant Kasbahs in Morocco. Ait Benhaddou Kasbah has appeared in several films and television shows, including Gladiator, Laurence of Arabia, Kingdom of Heaven, and Game of Thrones. Then you'll go to Ouarzazate, where you'll have free time to see the historic Kasbah of Ouarzazate, the Taourirt Kasbah. Then, you will take the road towards the Roses Valley, past the Skoura palm forest to the Dades Valley. You will arrive at Dades Gorges about 5 p.m., have supper, and spend the first night in a traditional Moroccan hotel.

DAY 2: DADES GORGES - TOUDRA GORGES - ERFOUD - MERZOUGA DESERT

When the clock strikes eight in the morning, you will check out of your accommodation in the Dades Gorges and make your way to the road that leads to the Toudra Gorges. After you have arrived, you will have some free time to explore the area and take in the breathtaking canyons that are around 300 metres high. Your journey will continue to the Big Dunes of Merzouga, where you will have a camel ride that lasts for around one and a half hours and where you will be able to take in one of the most breathtaking views in the whole world: a spectacular sunset in the desert. After that, you will have dinner and make yourself comfortable in a nomadic tent in the midst of the desert.

DAY 3: MERZOUGA - AGDZ - ATLAS MOUNTAINS - MARRAKECH

On the final morning, you will be awakened a quarter of an hour before sunrise to soak in the spectacular surroundings. After seeing the sunrise, you'll ride dromedaries all the way back to Merzouga. After having a shower and eating breakfast, you will travel from Merzouga to Marrakech by means of Tazarine and the Draa Valley. The Draa Valley is a beautiful oasis with Berber settlements, Kasbahs, flowing sand dunes, lush green plains, palm palms, and a glimpse of the snow-capped Atlas Mountains. In addition, the Draa is Morocco's biggest river.
